  • Course Objectives
    After the completion of the course, the student will be able to

    • Identify and use different tools and dies used for candle making.
    • Procure / prepare the raw materials like ax, wicks for making candles and also judge the quality of candles prepared by using different types of wax and wicks.
    • Conduct the basic burning test and understand how to judge the quality of wax and wick used.
    • Make candles of different kinds using the dies and wicks of proper size and thickness.
    • Make candles of different colors by judging the proper quantity and time for mixing the colors.
    • Make candles of different fragrance by judging the proper quantity and time for mixing the fragrance.
    • Make Fancy candles used for different occasions
    • Prepare simple business plan as per given instructions / protocol provided.
