The Department of Commerce is one of the prestigious departments of Nirmala Arts and Science College which started functioning from the very inception of the college in the year 2007. Currently, the department offers two UG programs and one PG program in Commerce. The B.Com Model II Finance and Taxation batch was started in the year 2007, and later in the year 2009, B.Com Model II Computer Application was started. The department turned into Post Graduate Department in the year 2012 with the sanctioning of two Batches of M.Com (Finance). The Department is enriched by a team of 11 efficient, experienced, and well-dedicated faculty members who strive for the academic as well as interpersonal development of students. The department believes in developing and nurturing global competencies in students through quality education and continuous innovation. It provides a proficient environment to nurture commerce professionals with a high level of knowledge and competence to effectively contribute to society with commitment and integrity.
