Department of Physics

The Department of Physics was recognized as a research centre of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam in 1985 and as a research centre of KUFOS in 2015. Dr. James Joseph, former faculty member of the Department of Physics, took his Ph.D. from the research centre. Dr. V J Peter, former Principal,is a research guide in the centre. At present two faculty members Dr. Rajeshmon V G and Dr. Poornima N are eligeble for research guideships and  have filed the application for the same  with the parent university.
