The Office of International Affairs, in association with the Department of English, convened “Wordwise: The First Chapter” as a part of Reading Week 2021.The programme was convened on 7th July 2021 at 8.30 a.m. The students of II and III B.A. English Literature were the participants of “Wordwise: The First Chapter”, and made an in-depth analysis of two literary works, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and “The Gift of Magi” by O.Henry. Dr.Salia Rex was the staff coordinator and Miss. Alen Yohannan, Miss. Anjaly C.A., Miss .Anaina N.K. and Mr. Kenes Michael were the student coordinators. There were sixty four attendees for the programme which turned out to be a successful event which won both the students’ and the teachers’ acclamation.
