About the course:
NEED: Whether for post graduate courses or for entry into services, competitive exams almost always have a section to test the numerical and analytical abilities of the candidates. Considering this, the Department of Mathematics has identified and decided to offer a course on certain areas that are quintessentially found in any competitive exam.
OBJECTIVE: To familiarize Undergraduate & Postgraduate students of the institution with mathematical concepts that form the basis of questions that appear in competitive examinations and to teach them how to attempt these questions correctly in the minimum possible time.
METHOD: Five major areas have been identified. Each area will be handled with explanation, discussion, quizzes, assignments and tests. A certificate will be issued to the registered participants on the successful completion of the course.
