07-09 January 2019 : Erudite Lecture Series 

Department of Physics organised Three Days Erudite Lecture Series in Nano Technology during 7-9 of January 2019. The programme is in association with Kerala State Higher Education Council(KSHEC) under the ‘Erudite - Scholars in Residence’ scheme. Two eminent scientists, Dr. Svetlana Von Gratowski and Dr. Victor Koledov delivered lectures and interacted with the UG, PG students and research scholars. 

 

16-10-2018 : National Seminar

Department of Physics organised One Day National Seminar in association with Academy of Physics, Kerala. Dr. Ajith Parameswar from International Centre for theoretical Sciences, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Banglore delivered lecture on Gravitational Waves. Dr. Priya Rose, International School of Photonics, Cochin University of Science and Technology delivered lecture on Laser Physics. More than 50 participants from the neighbouring colleges 100 students from St. Paul's College attended the seminar.

 

25-09-2018 : Ozone Day Celebrations

Department of Physics, St. Paul’s College, Kalamassery conducted a collage designing competition, one day seminar on the theme “Keep cool and carry on! The Montreal Protocol”, and a quiz competition in connection with World Ozone Day celebrations 2018.The event was financially supported by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE). The seminar was held at St. Paul’s College seminar hall on 25th September 2018. More than 100 participants including faculty members, postgraduate and under graduate students of various departments participated in the event

 

25-09-2018 : Environment Day Celebrations

Department of Physics, St. Paul’s College, Kalamassery had conducted one day seminar on the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution” in connection with World Environment Day-2018 celebrations. The event was financially supported by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE).The seminar was held at St. Paul’s College seminar hall on 12th June 2018. More than 100 participants including faculty members, postgraduate and under graduate students of various departments were participated in the event.
